Bonn/Johannesburg, 23rd Ocotber 2019. The Southern African Alumni Network (SAAN) organised a continental summit focusing on an alumni exchange from volunteer and exchange programmes from 23rd to 25th October 2019 in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Bonn/Kigali, 23th October 2019. A Volunteer Forum on Promoting volunteering and exchanges in Africa in the context of the agenda 2063 (SDG) from the United Nations and Agenda 2030 from the African Union was held in Kigali, Rwanda.
Bonn/Addis Ababa, 10th October 2019. At a workshop in Addis Ababa from 2 to 4 September 2019, trainers shared ideas about the possibilities of educational support for young people in youth exchanges and voluntary services.
Bonn, 8th October 2019. The Autumn School for Sustainable Entrepreneurship is an annual program for young social entrepreneurs from African countries and Germany. It will take place from 1st to 5th November 2019 in Accra, Ghana.

Bonn, 13th September 2019. The Réseau AGYI Bénin would like to create a qualification system for organisations active in in the field of voluntary services and international exchange programmes. For this purpose the OBSVJ organised a workshop together with the GIZ.

Bonn/Benin, 28th August 2019. Promoting youth exchanges and volunteering is the fundamental vision of the African-German Youth Initiative (AGYI)-Benin network. From 2nd to 4th of October 2019 AGYI is organizing a conference on the theme "Inclusion in youth exchanges and volunteering" in Benin.
