Taking the step towards an international cooperation in the form of a youth exchange is not always easy for all organisations. A partner organisation has to be found, financing has to be secured and the necessary know-how has to be available.
In cooperation with partner organisations (Federal Association for Cultural Learning, Children and Youth Education (BKJ), German Sport Youth (dsj), German Corporation for International Cooperation (GIZ), Réseau AGYI Bénin, Tanzania Youth Coalition and WESSA), Engagement Global has held a total of three partner-matching conferences; 2018 in Tanzania, 2019 in Benin and 2020 in South Africa. Such a partner matching conference can help bring together organisations interested in an exchange and provide them with important know-how. It has proven to be a very productive format for (initiating) international cooperation.
Engagement Global is now making the gained experience available in a brief and compact manual with practical tips.
It can be accessed in the media center in German, English and French.
