The AGYI promotes the expansion of youth exchanges between Germany and African countries. It therefore builds upon existing exchange and volunteer programmes. For ASA, this initiative means that more young people from African countries can take part in an exchange with the AGYI. Hence this year, 18 participants from Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Namibia and Tunisia will plan and implement collaborative projects in binational teams with their partners from Germany.
