Former participants of weltwärts who had a placement in Germany and were sent from a country in southern Africa can become members of SAwN.

Representatives of SAAN at the European-African Youth Exchange Conference of the African-German Youth Initiative

Young people who participated in an exchange in Germany for more than three months are invited to join SAAN.

Alumni Portal Deutschland

The Alumniportal Deutschland is a social network designed to promote networking and the sharing of information among Germany-Alumni, companies, universities and organisations. The Community helps alumni to establish, maintain and benefit from valuable contacts, while encouraging cooperation among alumni and with organisations in the areas of culture, education and science.

ASA Alumni Network

An essential part of the ASA programme is the ASA network. The network has more than 5000 members and every year almost 300 alumni join. The ASA network offers a wide range of opportunities for interested individuals to be active and get involved.
